National Mystery Letterbox Project.

From: Jay Chamberlain (ae4mk@1bigred.com) | Date: 2002-12-05 13:00:20 UTC-05:00
Back on 25 July, 2002, message 13851, Jolly G-Man and Ladybug announced the first box hidden (NJ) as part of our National Mystery Letterbox Project (NMLBP).

Somehow the link was never posted onto the LbNA Mystery page.  This is a long term project and we have sent out many of the stamps to be hidden by volunteers in their respective states.

The delay in this project is all my fault, in that I had to step down as a LbNA webmaster about the same time and lost track of where we were in getting these stamps hidden and the clues posted.

I am still looking for volunteers to hide a NMLBP box in GA and MS. If anyone is interested please drop me an email off list, ae4mk@1bigred.com and I will send you the stamp(s).  If you have questions or comments please contact me off list as I only read the messages on line, and not very often.

As a reminder, if you have one of our NMLBP stamps and have not been able to hide it yet, please contact me. Maybe I can find another volunteer.

Or if you have hidden one of our stamps but have not passed me the clues, let me know, and I will get them posted to my site.

The original NJ box clues can be found  at   http://www.1bigred.com/users/jayc/letterbox/NMLBP/NMLBP.htm

Jay, I'm so glad to hear that the Project is still a 'go'  Not too long ago I checked to see if it were listed anywhere, and alas, it wasn't.  I assume it is now.  :)

Looking forward to other states checking in.

In addition to GA and MS, I have IN, DE, NC and SC which are ready to
go to a willing volunteer from any of those states. E-mail me off
list, Btrplc2b@aol.com and I will send you the stamp(s).

Thanks.
